Generosity and cheapness on a same plane...

A young white lady (excuse my reference), flanked by two shabbily clad kids, waited for "2 Masala Dosas Parcel" at a dosa shop just out of RCity, Ghatkopar, just as the aroma was filling the air..
Oooh.. The smell of the dosa made me order one and a wait ensued!!!

"Madam, Tees - Thirty rupees.."
"Hundred rupee note"
"Mera bhi kat lena..", an autowala prompting to the shopkeeper from behind.
"Sir.. Aapka..".


Inertia.. I felt it as I heard him call out to me.. My mind had traveled too fast without me!!!!

A new year.. A new beginning...

I am happy to have started writing on this festive day, the 15th Jan 2011,  the Tamil New Year a.k.a Pongal...
Thoughts transform lives... I wish I ink some, before they vanish...
